A weakening band of precipitation will slowly track North/North Eastwards for the first part of Christmas Eve giving small accumulations. As it becomes lighter it may turn sleety but some places may just see snow. Just patches and fragmented bits of precipitation may continue through the day.
In the 'Sleet' region there are a risk of some wintry showers particularly in the morning thanks to the LOW Pressure nearby. A mix of rain sleet and perhaps snow is possible. Towards the end of the day cold air will have filtered south very briefly and some flurries of snow may be around Central areas as we head into Christmas day but this is a small risk.
Watch out for icy roads as some snow may freeze/partially freeze making conditions tricky in the morning. Take care when out and about.
