Extended Light Snow area in the South.
Extended Light Snow area in the North East.
A front will be approaching the South during Monday. As this bumps into the cold air it is likely to turn to sleet and snow especially in inland areas. The coasts will more likely see snow. The snow may be locally heavy at times. A few cm is likely and may go on top of previous accumulations. The rain, sleet and snow is most likely to track towards the East Midlands and East Midlands though some flurries, light snow may make ot into the West Midlands for a time though this is uncertain. Conditions will be tricky locally so extra care is advised. Widespread ice is expected by Tuesday morning.
The North East has seen an extension of the Light snow area. This is just to cover the risk of some showers making it there from the West/South West.
